Steel-constructed 6-inch continental shade carrier.
This shade carrier is suitable for lampshades which have a duplex ring fitted (the diameter for the duplex ring is 100mm).
It can also be converted down to standard UK lamps because it comes supplied with a plastic reducer ring, which converts a 40mm ring down to a 30mm ring.
This product is finished in white.

Q1: With regard to your shade carriers, Does the inch height measurement refer to the full extremity of the carrier, Or to the position where the ring on the shade fits?
A1: Good morning the overall height of the SHA86 is 152mm and the overall width is 130mm and this will only fit lampshades which have a round duplex ring fitted (the diameter for the duplex ring is 100mm)
